West OZZZZZZZZZZZ.............

Saw this picture on MSW a couple of days ago and then again today on a Dutch blog. I thought at the time this was Three Bears in West Oz, looks just like it. We had a fantastic trip 'Down Under' in 1987 traveling up from Margaret River to Exmouth (a longgggggg way) over four months in a T2 VW. On one particular day we surfed Three Bears and were witness to a beautiful display of a dozen dolphins breaking the surface in the line-up. Magic..............

Another good surf...................

A fun 1.5mtrs yesterday at St Tugen. Out on my Wayne Lynch with some new fins, very enjoyable sesh, not too crowded either. No more boots or gloves and even warm enough in a 3/2. Things can only get better.

A quick update..............

Well finally got out on the new Naish, a nice balade round the bay out front, just enjoying some nice flat water and sunshine before it all went pear-shaped again. Bit of a dissapointment with the guy I bought the paddle off. He chose not to send the blade cover that had been advertised and included in the price. When I contacted him about it be basicaly said for that price he had decided to keep it and use it himself........thanks a lot!! Well I guess some people are like that. I told him Karma will catch up with him one day.

New Stand Up........................

Well, had to choose between a new surfboard (see below) or a replacement SUP.
Found this Naish Nalu 11' 6" secondhand. It is so light compared to the Starboard I had last year.
Really looking forward to getting on the water with this soon.
New paddle arrives tomorrow, Monday. A Quickblade Kahana.

Saw this on my way to work a couple of weeks ago and snapped a quick pic. They were sixty meters up!!!

New Board.............

Like the look of this for an all-rounder. Never had a quad and I love the full template of this. Can't decide between the 6' 3" and the 6' 6". Probably the larger one. It would be great with a traditional centre finbox to use as a single. Mmmmm, maybe I should get a custom? decisions, decisions.
